Ggronik is a comprehensive theme-based foundational years’ curriculum which aims for holistic development of little learners. ‘Ggronik curriculum is based on ‘Inquiry-based’ approach which reflects the best practices of key early years’ theorists like Maria Montessori, Reggia Emilia, Piaget, Vygotsky. The curiosity in young minds will help them explore their surroundings and learn by themselves. It will promote the creative thinking and problem-solving skills in the children. The teacher only acts as a support to help these children soar high.
National Education Policy (2020) has recognized the ‘foundational’ age group as a pivotal stage for the development of children during their early years. The newly introduced policy targets on enquirybased learning and on overall personality development. Keeping this at the thrust, Ggronik curriculum functions entirely in compliance to the NEP – 2020. The curriculum developed is aimed to be more skill-based and diminishes rote learning. It directs towards the holistic development of learners by equipping them with the key 21st-century skills.
The methodology targets to develop six developmental domains and develops language, mathematical, scientific, personal & social, creative and motor skills. In order to achieve the developmental milestones in the early years, our curriculum is divided into various themes across the academic session. Activities are intensively planned on the basis of various themes.
